Mystic Mermaid Universe voyage series · In the water

The underwater half of the show. You plan and lead the dives that make the voyage worth watching, from reef days to mermaid shoots. Join for the whole season, or for a port or a stretch of coast.

Filming and production

Filming and production are planned for late 2027 and 2028. Start dates follow the purchase of the season's vessel and are confirmed in writing before anyone travels.

What you do

• Plan and lead dives, give briefings and look after guest safety underwater.
• Manage dive gear, tanks and the compressor.
• Appear on camera, and film underwater if you can.
• Sell dive trips and keep the income from the dives you sell, within the local rules.

What you bring

• Current professional membership with a recognised agency (PADI, SSI or equivalent). An instructor rating is a plus.
• Current emergency first response and oxygen provider certification.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Nitrox, deep and current experience. Underwater camera skills are a plus.

How you are engaged

Through your own dive business as an independent professional. Your income comes from the dives you sell, plus a show share for on-camera work set in the season agreement.

Paid diving and guest trips run only where the boat or a local partner holds the right permit, with any local work permit the country requires.
