A film shot from a boat needs people who can keep it fed and keep it running. A cook who can act is a lead.

Filming and production

Filming and production are planned for late 2027 and 2028, shot in windows at a series of ports. Dates are confirmed in writing before anyone travels.

What you do

• Cook, keep the engine room running, or work the deck during a port window.
• Hold a line and deliver a line, when the scene calls for it.

What you bring

• Your qualifications, and the waters you know.
• Skippers and mates with coastal tickets are welcome here too. For the voyage itself, see the Captain and First Mate calls.

How you are engaged

Applying is free and puts you on the ZonKlast Studios casting register. Being on the register is not employment, and we will never ask for money to be on it.

Supporting cast and crew drawn from the register are offered terms in writing before they travel anywhere. Nobody is asked to work for exposure.

Crew hired at ports are hired on local terms and paid as crew.

Who can apply: 18 and over. Casting is open now.
