Independent film is not for the faint of heart. Or the light of wallet. ZonKlast Studios put its money into Achilles Returns, an indie film directed by George Tounas, a filmmaker with actual nerve, and we are here to announce, with full confidence and zero hesitation: it was worth it. Probably.
What Even Is Achilles Returns?
Great question. Achilles Returns is a George Tounas film. The kind that doesn't come with a studio note telling it to be more "accessible." It comes with a point of view, real filmmaking instincts, and the kind of ending that makes you stare at a wall and think about your choices. Great ones. Someone else's choices. Doesn't matter. Wall. Staring.
ZonKlast backed this one because George doesn't make boring films, and we recognize a good bet when we see one.
